SEMINAR/WORKSHOP/ STUDY TOUR on Aquaculture, Biorefinery and Modern Circular Production Systems

INBIOM – National Bioresource Network, AAU Energy in Esbjerg, AQUA-COMBINE and GO GRASS H2020 projects invite you to one and a half-day of top scientists and industrial partners sharing their knowledge and expertise about aquaculture, on-shore production loops, and circular economy. Furthermore, students, companies, and project partners will be encouraged to participate in “speed dating” sessions as a part of the very important development of professional networks and research groups for future project consortiums. We invite all to participate in a study tour visiting a state-of-the-art Recirculating Aquaponics System (RAS) production unit producing 125 tons of fish with subsequently plant production for high-value products, nutrient removal, and water cleaning. At the end of day two we will terminate the event with 4 panel debates and discussions about the four important pillars of on-shore aquaculture and production systems:

• Biomass Cultivation and Production

• Processing and Refining

• Utilization of High Value Compounds

• Sustainability and the Road Ahead
