Stakeholder meeting in Évora
Meeting the needs of the market is one of the challenges for research and innovation projects! Therefore, AQUACOMBINE is establishing a stakeholder community with industry, end-users and authorities from selected AQUACOMBINE topics On May the 30th stakeholder form Alentejo and members of the consortium met at Evora to exchange like Agriculture, Aquaculture, Cosmetic, Food, Feed and Renewable energy. With this community AQUACOPMBINE aims to establish long term bilateral exchange to share and generate knowledge and information.
The event “Going Circular” took place at the Institute of Employment and Vocational Training of Évora and was broadcast live via Zoom. In addition to the project partners, Dr. João Maria Grilo, Chairman of the Board of ADRAL, with Eng.ª Carmen Carvalheira, Vice President of the CCDR Alentejo and Dr. Paula Caeiro, Director of the IEFP of Évora, were also present.
The speakers invited to the event were:
Eng.ª Teresa Silva Brás Cebal, with the topic “Cynara cardunculus a source of compounds with economic potential”.
Eng. José Costa Gomes da EDIA – Alqueva Development and Infrastructure Company, with “Sustainable initiatives promoted by EDIA”.
At the end of the day, all stakeholders and consortium members came to the same conclusion. Meeting the needs of the market will be less difficult if all parties involved exchange on a regularly base.
